When people gather around common interests, it creates opportunities to share, connect and interact. Join Facebook Groups that align with your interests and hobbies and keep the focus on building real relationships instead of just selling and recruiting. Be active, answer questions, offer value, open dialogue and create relationships.

There have been some substantial changes in how your Live broadcast are viewed in 2017 and if you don't understand these changes, you could be losing viewers and customers!

When Facebook Live launched, we applied the same strategies used in Periscope broadcasts. But there's a big difference between Periscope and Facebook Live, and a simple shift in your strategy can skyrocket your views and engagement.

 

Grab Your Viewers Right Away

With Facebook Live, the majority of your broadcast views will come long after your Live is over. Which means, it's no longer appropriate to wait for viewers to join you. As soon as the countdown has finished, start your broadcast with a compelling statement, question or story that peaks your viewers interest. The goal is to compel your viewers to stick around and watch. This will also help you to grab the attention of those scrolling their Facebook Newsfeed, making them stop their scroll and watch your broadcast.

Give People a Reason to Watch Your Broadcast

It’s not only important to get people on your LIVE broadcast and to watch later…it’s also important to keep your viewers on your broadcast. for as long as possible. How long people view your broadcast plays an important role in Facebook’s algorithm and how it’s applied to your video. The longer people watch, the longer Facebook is going keep your video in the Newsfeed.

Call to Comment

A very important factor of Facebook’s algorithm (and how long your video will stay in people’s newsfeed) is ENGAGEMENT. Creating engagement during your LIVE broadcast and for viewers watching your broadcast later, is very crucial and you can do that by creating, asking questions throughout your broadcast (Call to Comment) and tell your viewers, both LIVE and those watching later, to comment. Plan out 3-5 Call to Comments before your broadcast.

  1. Tell your viewers what you're going to talk about and start. Don't wait for people to jump on. Most of your views will come later but people won't stick around and watch if you don't grab them in the first 30 sec.
  2. Ask your viewers to share…even if they're watching it later. They'll be happy to share if you ask them and that will increase your audience.
  3. Be Consistent. Even if you can only go LIVE once a week, pick a day/time and show up every time. Your viewers are looking for 3 things….authenticity, vulnerability and CONSISTENCY.

How to Get Into Beast Mode and Rank Advance in Your MLM

Want to rank advance in your MLM, cross the stage at your next company event? Here's 5 tips to get you there.

Set Clear Goals With a Due Date

I can't stress enough how important this step is. Your goal needs to really have meaning to you, even scare you a little. Visualize what reaching your goal will feel like and have a definitive time frame to achieve it.

You should also have a clear plan on how you're going to achieve this goal. For instance, I'm going connect with people on Facebook using….paid ads, find and follow, meet people in groups, adding 200 friends, run a contest, etc.

Know Your Numbers

It's not enough to say, “I want to hit the next rank in my company”, you need to know exactly how you're going to accomplish it.

  • What's the next rank?
  • What volume do you need to have?
  • Quantity of sales you need?
  • Number of people you need to recruit?
  • How many people do you need to talk to to acheive this goal?

For instance, let's say I need to recruit 6 people to hit the next rank in my business. I know that for every 10 people I talk to, I recruit 1 person. That means, I need to talk to 60 people to recruit 6. Make sense?

Put Your Plan in Place

As well as being clear on how you're going to achieve your goal, you need to commuicate it with your family so they are clear on what they can expect from you. I usually tell my husband, “honey, I'm going on a 60 day blitz”. He knows that means I won't be as available as I usually am. We won't be able to go to dinner or the movies, etc. because I'm nose to the grindstone.

Also, take a look at what you can outsource. If you have children, who can you get to help with carpool? What home chores can you get help with? What types of quick and easy dinners can you plan? Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Surround Yourself With People That Support You

This is so important! You're going to need a lot of support and encouragement. Distance yourself from any “negative Nellies” and surround yourself with people that lift you up. Find an accountability partner, someone that will push you when you need it and encourage you when you feel like quiting.

Cut Out All Unecessary Activities

What activities can you give up in both your business and your personal life during your run? What things can you sacrafice in the short run to give you more time to work your goal?

  • TV
  • Working out
  • Coffee with your friends

If it doesn't help bring you closer to your goal….it's out!

Use a timer to keep you focused on work. Set it for 60-90 mins at a time, and during that time you're laser focused. Then take a 10-15min break and do it again.

Breaks are important to keep you going and to keep you focused. It's much easier to stay focused when you know the timer is going off in 60 mins and you get a 10 min break.

What is a Lead?

Leads are the lifeblood of any successful business that needs a steady flow of prospects to present their products or business opportunity. All businesses require marketing and lead generation to make sales.

Most network marketing companies ask their Reps to make a list of 40, 50, 100 people they know. We call this your warm market, which is a great place to start. If you’re like me, you’ve already talked to your family and friends to the point that they don’t want to hear anymore.

What if you could find people that are actually interested in what you have rather than trying to convince your friends or family to sign up when they have no desire to?

How do you get leads for your business?

You could purchase leads, although I don’t recommend it. Purchased leads are generic and may not be interested in your products or business. The best leads will always be the ones you generate yourself. These people have seen your pitch and raised their hand to learn more.

The good news is, the Internet has made it easier than ever to find people who want what you have. By answering a few questions about who might be best suited for you products or business, you can produce your own quality leads for your business.

  1. Who is the most likely buyer of your produce/service or business plan?
  2. Where can your target market be found?
  3. What are their pains/struggles/desires?
  4. How will your products/service/business solve their pains/struggles?

Do you know what it takes to get you into profit mode? What activities create income for your business? If you had to make a sale today, what would you sell?

Build Your Audience

Personal Branding – You are not your Company but you are the thing that makes your business unique…YOU. When you Brand yourself you form a bond with your prospects. A bond so strong, they'll chose you over all of the other Reps. In Branding yourself, you'll also naturally attract customers to you.

Identifying Your Target Audience – Identifying your Target Audience is crucial to your marketing plan. Otherwise, how do you know who you are talking to with your marketing? Knowing what their pains an struggles are will help you determine how you can best provide a solution for them. You also need to identify where they hangout, so that you know where to look to connect with them.

Engage With Your Audience

  • Make Connections – When making new connections, don't be weird and do not talk about your company or products. Ask questions and be interested in their answers. Be geniune and don't have any expectations.

One of the things I love about Facebook is they make it so easy to find and connect with people. I mean, we tell Facebook everything about us. Where we live, where we went to high school, where we work, what movies we like, our favorite books, what food we like…its crazy! Facebook knows more about us than the federal government!

That's good news for us marketers because we can use that information to find and connect with our ideal prospects. Before you do that, let's make sure you have your Facebook house in order.

There's no doubt that Facebook is a powerful marketing tool for your business. With over 1.8 billion active users and over 6oo billion message being sent per day, if you're not using Facebook for your business, you are missing out on a huge audience!

So why aren't more marketers seeing the success they want on Facebook? For one thing, it seems the first thing marketers do when they turn to Facebook is…..PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE. It's important to keep in mind that no one logs onto Facebook to buy or be sold to. We turn to Facebook to connect, see what the celebrities are up to, to share and entertain or be entertained.

If you want to grow your Facebook Business Page following here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Keep the focus on making connections
  • Create curiosity
  • Be positive and inspiring
  • Be helpful and provide solutions
  • Use videos and photos
  • Attract people, don't chase
  • Don't post about products or links to website
  • Don't spam your feed with company news
  • Never try to convince
  • Don't be negative, controversial or pushy

Building your unique brand starts with your photo. It should be a clean head shot and one that is used on all of your social media profiles. If you want Brand Recognition, people need to see the same photo on multiple platforms.

Fill out the about section to give you credibility and likability. What do you want people to know about your Brand? What do you stand for and who do you serve? Use colorful photos and offer value and knowledge for you audience.

Simple Ways to Attract Your Ideal Customer

  • Do Facebook Lives regularly
  • Be confident, smile and make them laugh
  • Be respectful
  • Stay positive, even through the tough times
  • Edutain – educate and entertain
  • Be consistent
  • Reply to all comment on your page
  • Create curiosity

Contrary to what most marketers believe, Facebook is not a selling platform, its a social platform and curiosity is your best friend. Share stories while creating curiosity. Your goal here is to create so much curiosity that everyone raises their hand and says…ME, ME, please ME!

Follow the 90/10 Rule for posting where no more than 10% of your posts are business related. When you post, say nothing about your business, instead post about the benefits and add emotion. Post about your lifestyle as a result of your business and be authentic.

How to Get Leads From Your Business Page

  • Curiosity
  • Private Message
  • Phone/VIdeo Chat

Create a post that elicits a response giving you permission now to send a private message and start a conversation. Ask questions to uncover their pain or struggles and once you've done that, move the conversation to the phone or video chat to offer your products or business as the solution to their problem.

To elicits responses on your posts, use a “soft” call to action like….

  • Drop a comment for more information
  • Message me for more information
  • Please Like, comment and share
  • Absolutely no links or websites

Create a Community That People Will Flock to

You want people to keep coming to your Business Page for more? Inspire and motivate them, share value and entertain them. Share your failures as well as your triumphs. Be real and authentic, be consistent and show them that you will show up for them, no matter what!

Community Building Posts

  • What's your favorite book?
  • What's your favorite (sport, food, vacation)
  • Caption this photo
  • What was your favorite part of you day?
  • Fill in the blank posts
  • Lifestyle posts

Want to increase your reach? Use the Audience Insights tool on your Business Page. It will show which of your posts are most popular and when you're getting the most engagement on your posts. Use this information to schedule your posts during those times that you receive the most engagement and post 3 to 4 per day.

Other Ways to Increase Your Reach

  • Upload your email contacts and email list and use the Suggest Page feature
  • Utilize the Call to Action Button to offer value or provide more information
  • Like, Comment and Share as your Business Page
  • When someone Likes your Page, send them a message and thank them
  • Reply to all Comments on your Page
  • Message and thank anyone that Shares a Post from your Page
  • Anytime you can find a reason to send someone a message is an opportunity to connect and build a relationship

  • Create a following and nurture it

It's said that you only need 1,000 true followers to build your business. Be consistent, engage with your audience, and build the know, like and trust factor and you will see your business flourish!
