Tweet – A Tweet is a message posted on Twitter that can contain text, photos, links, and videos.
Reply – Replying to a Tweet is a way to show you’re listening and provide helpful answers.
Retweet – A Retweet is sharing a Tweet from someone else with your followers. You can Retweet the Tweet as is, or quote the Tweet to add a comment of your own. The author will see that you Retweeted and usually acknowledges and thanks you.
Like – A like is a simple way t acknowledge a Tweet. It can also be useful to use to bookmark something you want easily find again. Tap the heart icon to like a Tweet and the author will see that you appreciate it.
Hashtag – A hashtag is any word, or phrase without spaces, beginning with the # symbol. Hashtags can be used to organize conversations and make it easier to find all content related to a give topic. Clicking on a hashtag will take you directly to the search results for that term.
Mention – When you add @username in a message, it brings your Tweet to that person’s attention. You can use it to ask a question, to thank someone, or simply to highlight a piece of content.
